(Includes CBI Background Check Fee). If you have purchased a firearm from another dealer and require a local (FFL) Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer to receive the firearm and perform the required background check in order to complete the transfer. Colorado residency and Colorado driver's license required for all handgun transfers (Exception: for active duty military personnel on orders). A valid driver's license (Any U.S. State) is required for all rifle and shotgun transfers.
